NFT's are up to do good!
This real-world example again illustrates the value, both social and monetary, that NFT art is truly an added value, when combined with a concrete goal, as in this case by creating compelling art pieces in order to raise funds in order to support the promotion of women’s football in Switzerland.
This NFT art collection from the SFA and Credit Suisse, with a total of 756 unique non-fungible tokens (also known as NFTs), is exclusively available via Credit Suisse’s CSX app from July 11 to August 31, 2023.
The NFT's are classified from Limited to rare to Unique ranging from CHF 150 up to CHF 10.000. The limited ones come in a digital portrait of the respective player togehther with a signed print (A4) of the NFT.
Whereas the more exclusive ones come with the painted version on canvas of different sizes, a meet and greet anda signed jersey of the respective player.
“By implementing the project, Credit Suisse is setting another milestone in the development of the Swiss digital assets market,” the bank said in a press release.
At the moment there are some restrictions however that are implemented in the Credit Suisse’s CSX app.
* Payments will only be accepted in Swiss francs, not cryptocurrencies.
* Buyers won’t be able to resell or even transfer their NFTs outside of the CSX app, but Credit Suisse said it was looking to add that functionality further
down the line.
Sandra Caviezel, head of partnerships and sponsorship at Credit Suisse, said any funds raised will not only directly support the women’s national team but also contribute to nurturing young talent.
NFT's are unique one of a kind tokens, this makes them rare and thus valueble in their own right, they can be seamlesly traded on any NFT marketplace and provide royalty ( kickback after every re-sale) that goes to the creator.
